Since 1997 Leucci Costruzioni operates in tubular section supports towers and foundations
elements manufacturing market for wind turbines installation for renewable energy production.
The wind towers can be up to 90m high, they have from 2 to 4 sections and a thickness range between 10 to 40 mm; they are turn-key delivered to the customer, with all the electrical-mechanical equipments (power cables, ladders, lift, etc.) and superficial protection treatment according to the customer’s technical specification.
In the last years, this division has recorded a considerable increase of orders, counting among its customers, the most important world manufactures of wind turbines, placing Leucci Costruzioni as European leader in wind tower production.
Leucci Costruzioni boasts a long and consolidated tradition in pressure vessels production for petrochemical plants, thermo-electrical and geothermic power stations, desalination plants. Our production includes pressure vessels, desalination plants, columns, reactors, heat exchanger, brine heaters, piping, wall papering and process skid, made in carbon steel, alloy, stainless steel, nickel alloy and copper alloy.
For the acquired experience throughout the years, the company has manufactured tubesheet heat exchanger up to 200 tons weight and 5m diameter.
The high construction quality is assured by the high standard specialization of human resources, by modern manufacturing process and by non-destructive examinations performed by highly qualified workers.
During last years Leucci Costruzioni has began to manufacture structural steel and machines, in particular portal crane for container’s unloading and handling, turn-key delivered and tested, and also supply and mounting of main structures of continuous ship coal unloaders bucket chain type, etc. The machines division also includes the self production “Turning Rollers” for circumferential welding and painting of conical/cylindrical vessel/towers , which are completely design and constructed by our company according to the European directives (“Machine” and “Low Tension”) and they are supplied with the whole documentation as by law (Declaration of Conformity and CE marking). The use of CNC tool machine allows to obtain a high quality and reliability of the completed products, which becomes a reference point for the production in heavy industry.
Leucci Costruzioni operates in industrial plants maintenance for electrical energy production offering always a fast and efficient service in every situation. Our skilled operators (mechanics, TIG welders, fitters, etc.) can perform any type of maintenance on plants, machines, vessels, boilers, piping and wall papering. The company boast decennial partnership and frames agreement with the most important national plants of power station generation and supply.
The department, consisting of engineers and engineering draughtsman, can offer
a complete and integrated service and consulting concerning the design of pressure
vessels, tubesheet heat exchanger , process piping, general structures and carpentry.
The department is provided with advanced softwares (certified) for thermal and
mechanical design of pressure vessels and heat exchanger, according to national,
european and international legislation (VSR, EN13445, ASME VIII Div.1, TEMA).
For the detailed engineering and drawing, the department is equipped with software
CAD 2D and 3D.
The design activities and engineering service are in according to Quality Manual
and procedures of assurance quality system certified in accordance with UNI
EN ISO 9001:2000.
